Ykids will be hosting the 5th Bootle Children’s Literary Festival this November with an exciting programme of events and activities across Bootle and North Liverpool.
2023 saw 43 schools and more than 18,500 people participate in author workshops, story competitions, book signings, theatrical performances, and events and 2025 is set to be even bigger and better.
25th October to 15th November 2025
A regional event for schools, families and children aimed at promoting a love of story, reading for pleasure and creativity.

At Ykids we are passionate about changing the lives on the children in and around Bootle. Education and especially reading, are really important factors in a child's life. Bootle Children's Literary Festival is one of the ways we hope to create and champion positive change for young people in Bootle.
